History of Pacific Outdoor

Pacific Outdoor Advertising Services Company Limited is a 100% Vietnamese owned limited liability company. We are established in 2008 and have more than 20 years of experience in the out-of-home (OOH) advertising industry, the management has grown the Company into one of the leading private outdoor media companies in Vietnam. Pacific Outdoor currently manages an inventory of thousands faces across the country, including large/ small format, roadside light box, street furniture and transport advertising displays located at 40 over 64 cities/ provinces nationwide. With its unparalleled site capabilities, Pacific Outdoor is offering its clients unmatched quality OOH advertising services.

Founders/shareholders of Pacific Outdoor are experienced managers who have worked in the OOH industry in Vietnam since 1989 and brought a strong network of relationships at the district, city and national levels of government. They have the breadth and depth of knowledge, expertise and experience in all aspects of building and operating OOH business in Vietnam.

Mr. NGUYEN DUY CUONG

Nguyen Duy Cuong has spent many years of his life over the past 2 decades in the advertising industry and was one of the pioneers in this industry in Vietnam after 1975. He was one of a very few people in the late 1980s who started this business as soon as the first commercial advertising was allowed. Before 1988, due to the centralized economy, the country only had propaganda. Right after the country shifted from centralized economy to market-oriented economy in 1988, Cuong submitted his business plan to establish the Advertising services Department and formed Advertising Services – Trading Centre (ASTC), a subsidiary of the State – owned General Services Company of Ho Chi Minh City. Cuong holds Bachelor degree in Business Administration. Key aspects of Cuong’s career include:

1989 Started in OOH. Founder and Deputy Head of Advertising services Department of ASTC.

Founder and Managing Director of Pacific Advertising – Trading services.

Managing Director Pacific Outdoor and to remain a shareholder.

Former Chief of the Inspection Committee of HCMC Advertising Association.

Member of the Advertising Association of Vietnam.

The head of the HCMC OOH club.

Mr. NGUYEN QUOC DAI

Nguyen Quoc Dai has been in the OOH industry as early as the industry has started its first commercial advertising in Vietnam after 1975. He has spent 10 years working at Advertising Services – Trading Centre (ASTC) before establishing Pacific Advertising – Trading services Co., Ltd. (the precursor of Pacific Outdoor) – in conjunction with Nguyen Duy Cuong – in 2000. With a friendly character and an experience of as depth as more than 20 years in OOH, Dai is lovable to anyone he meets so much that he gains sympathy from not only local authorities but also suppliers and clients.
